The machine works on the principle of microchip-controlled access control - your pet's chip is scanned and recognized. The flap only opens when an animal with the appropriate chip approaches (the device's memory recognizes up to 32 different chips) - if another approaches, the flap will not open, or quickly close if it was still open. It is also ideal for several animals, so there is no jealousy over food or when one animal has special food during illness or in the case of obesity. The flap closes automatically when the animal leaves, thus keeping the food safe from flies, ants, mice, mold spores, etc. The upper edges of the bowl are sealed, so the food stays fresh for longer.
