NORMACLAMP® TORRO® type WF clamps are equipped with a spring insert on the inside of the clamp in addition to the standard hose clamp. When tightened, the spring is tensioned, which stores sufficient energy to generate a clamping force that provides a long-lasting self-tensioning effect. The radiating clamping force obtained in this way is sufficient even in extremely low temperature conditions. Therefore, the TORRO® series is the optimal solution for use in very large temperature changes (e.g. with charged air) or for securing cables that are subject to loosening, so-called "creeping".
