NORMACLAMP® TORRO® type WF clamps, in addition to the standard hose clamp, feature a spring insert on the inside of the clamp. When tightened, the spring is tensioned, storing sufficient energy to generate a clamping force that ensures a long-lasting self-tensioning effect. The radiating clamping force thus achieved is sufficient even in extremely low temperatures. Therefore, the TORRO® series is the optimal solution for applications with very large temperature changes (e.g., with charged air) or for securing cables that are subject to loosening, so-called "creep."
