NORMACLAMP® TORRO® type WF clamps, in addition to the standard hose clamp, are equipped with a spring insert on the inside of the clamp. During tightening, the spring is tensioned, storing sufficient energy to create a clamping force that provides a long-lasting self-tensioning effect. The resulting radial clamping force is sufficient even under extremely low temperatures. Therefore, the TORRO® series is the optimal solution for use in very large temperature changes (e.g. with charged air) or for fastening loose cables, the so-called "creeping".
